When a shared folder has been created as requested and the listed users have been granted access. Then the shared folder can be accessed from machines which are joined to the KFUPM Domain.

Below are the details to access the folder:

Example of a provided shared folder path: \\196.15.32.XX\XXXXX\XXXd

Please create a shortcut on your desktop to access the shared folder:

1.) Right Click on desktop --> Select New --> Shortcut -->

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 2.) Give the path \\196.15.32.XX\XXXXX\XXXd ---> Select Next

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3.) Give the desired name for the shortcut and select ‘Finish’. (this will be the name of the shortcut on your desktop)
